Burgess' Butterfly Batfish Characterised by black and yellowChaetodon burgessi Care: Intermediate Diet: Omnivorous Light: Low Place of origin: Western Pacific Burgess' Butterfly West Pacific, Bali to Flores, southern Indonesia to Micronesia and New Guinea. Only seen along deep outer reef walls. Usually at depths of over 40m, but in some localities much shallower. Occurs solitary or in pairs. Readily identified by the angular black and white banding. Length to 12cm. Well established fish. 7 8 cm.
