A GRAPHIC DESIGN NDOP PURE COTTON ANTIQUE TEXTILE, BAMILEKE TRIBE CAMEROON ( No 5072 ) ETHNOGRAPHIC This is an embroidered fragmentAn abstract Ndop, strip weave fabric from Cameroon, West Africa. It is old and made using pure, hand spun cotton. Dyed with indigo using a resist dye process that uses raffia thread. Women artisans stitch in the geometrical resist design pattern, which is then dipped in indigo. In good original condition with wear. Height approx 200 x 100cm
